
HMC Architects announced a series of key leadership promotions within its Healthcare Practice, in order to support continued growth across California and the Pacific Northwest. Bolstered by the recent acquisition of Bassetti Architects, leadership changes include:
Hector Cruz, who served as the Ontario, California, healthcare managing principal for nine years, was promoted into a newly created role as senior vice president of healthcare. He will focus on strengthening healthcare relationships across HMC’s entire geographic footprint.

Ron Evans was promoted to managing principal of HMC’s Ontario, California Healthcare Studio. A veteran project leader with over 35 years of experience, he has led numerous large-scale infrastructure projects using a Lean and people-first approach.

Andrea Ruelas was promoted to principal in charge. With over two decades at HMC, Ruelas brings experience and leadership to delivering innovative healthcare solutions that center on patient and community needs.
