Roseann Latta, AIA,  principal of FCA’s Orlando, Florida office, will officially retire May 30. A leader in Florida’s healthcare design community for over four decades, Latta first joined FCA in 2022 after transitioning her long-standing firm, Fred M. Humphreys Associates, into the FCA family.

Founded in 1978 by Roseann and her husband Fred, Fred M. Humphreys Associates quickly became one of the most trusted and sought-after healthcare planning and design firms in Florida. Their roster of clients, including Orlando Health, Halifax Health and Advent Health, remains in FCA’s trusted care, thanks in no small part to Latta’s unwavering commitment to excellence.

“Roseann forms trusted relationships with everyone she interacts with,” said Aran A. McCarthy, AIA, President of FCA. “After Fred retired, Roseann’s goal was to create a stable home and legacy for her staff, so she and her team joined FCA. Roseann’s reputation in the Orlando design community is well known and respected, and her clients and partners will miss her day-to-day personal service. Roseann, Fred, and her family are expecting to welcome their first great-grandchild very soon—a fantastic milestone. We wish her the very best in her retirement from the firm, and thank her for all she has brought to FCA.”

With over 40 years of experience in team management, programming, space planning, and interior design, she has played an instrumental role in shaping healthcare environments across Florida. Her strategic, client-focused approach has not only elevated facility design but also fostered long-term partnerships that continue to thrive under FCA’s stewardship.

“I feel very comfortable about the legacy of the firm my husband and I started, and have nothing but high expectations for the FCA team going forward,” Latta added.
