Adam Stemle has been appointed president of La-Z-Boy Healthcare | Knú Comfort. The announcement comes on the heels of the company’s strongest year yet, which included the purchase of a second production facility near its Indiana headquarters. Stemle previously served as vice president of sales and marketing.
“Between his past experience as a leading outside sales rep and his time as VP, Stemle has been selling La-Z-Boy Healthcare | Knú Comfort products for 25 years,” said Glenn Lange, CEO and former president. “He has a strong vision for the company developed from his lengthy time in the industry, but has shown the flexibility to shift direction when needed to meet emergent needs in the market.”
Stemle joined the company in January 2020 and strategically navigated through the pandemic and subsequent supply chain instability, growing business by actively engaging customers through digital product demonstrations and implementing a traveling showroom experience. During his tenure leading the sales and marketing division, Stemle worked closely with Lange and the leadership team in orchestrating the expansion into its new Cannelton, Indiana production facility.
