Spec Furniture Launches CEU Course on Designing for Accessibility
Spec Furniture is launching a new Continuing Education Unit titled “Accessibility Considerations: Purposeful Design for All.” The course focuses on creating inclusive and functional built environments that cater to people of all abilities, including those with disabilities.
The course covers a wide range of topics, including:
- Principles of universal design
- Accessibility guidelines and standards
- How to create inclusive environments that promote wellness
- Considerations for designing furniture and spaces that support both abled and disabled individuals
- Practical strategies for incorporating accessibility into healthcare, corporate and educational environments
