Groundbreaking Celebrates Start of Construction on Penn State Health Cancer Center
Penn State Health held a groundbreaking ceremony on June 26 to celebrate the start of construction on the fit-out of the Penn State Health Cancer Center. The new 43,000-square-foot cancer center is located at Hampden Medical Center in Enola, Pennsylvania. It is expected to pen in October 2025.
Consolidating existing clinics from other campuses to a common location, the new center will ensure patients have easy access to world-class care from a multidisciplinary team of cancer specialists, as well as innovative therapies, the latest technology and the benefits of lifesaving cancer research, all close to home.
A new dedicated entrance will allow direct access to the cancer center on the ground level. The project team includes Flad Architects and Benchmark Construction.
