Tom Jansen Promoted to Ware Malcomb Regional Vice President of the Northwest Region
Tom Jansen, P.E., has been promoted to regional vice president of Ware Malcomb’s Northwest region. In this role, he is responsible for leading the firm’s services in the Pleasanton, San Francisco and Seattle offices. He will also continue to work to expand the firm’s civil engineering practice firmwide. In addition, Jansen has been named a member of the firm’s executive team.
Jansen has held multiple leadership roles during his time at Ware Malcomb and was regional principal for the Northwest region prior to his promotion. He brings more than 25 years of design expertise and is a registered professional engineer in 45 states. Jansen is experienced in all facets of civil engineering and land surveying. Before joining the firm in 2016, he ran a successful Denver-based engineering firm for more than 10 years.
Jansen’s resume includes experience with various project types, including single family, multifamily, office, industrial, healthcare, retail and institutional. As a firm leader, he has significantly contributed to Ware Malcomb’s Advisory Board and critical internal planning and governance teams, including its Civil Advisory Team.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University and is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, Urban Land Institute and Home Builders Association.
