IAPMO Publishes Manual of Recommended Construction Practices for Potable Water
The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials and the Construction Practices for Potable Water Task Group have released the Manual of Recommended Construction Practices for Potable Water.
The manual provides education and guidance to help plumbing professionals responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of water systems to reduce the potential of contaminating plumbing systems during construction. If unmanaged, construction and commissioning activities contribute to the growth and spread of opportunistic premise plumbing pathogens in potable and non-potable building water systems. The publication includes a bonus Water Quality Manual produced by the Environmental Science, Policy and Research Institute/IAPMO.
The manual may be downloaded for free at: iapmo.org/media/32296/construction_practices_for_potable_water_manual.pdf
