Dawne David-Pierre, an architect and project manager with more than two decades of experience delivering complex projects in healthcare, education and science and technology, has joined Perkins&Will as operations director for its New York and Philadelphia studios.
David-Pierre’s portfolio demonstrates a responsiveness to the needs of historically underserved populations and includes projects such as the upgraded ambulatory surgery center at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn; multiple clinical and public space renovations at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens and the Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor Strategic Action Plan in Buffalo. She has also worked with New York City Health+Hospitals, One Brooklyn Health System, New York City School Construction Authority and UC Berkeley.
David-Pierre is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Organization of Minority Architects. She is also a leadership board member of FIRST 500, an organization that provides support and builds community for Black women in architecture.
