An expansion project for PrairieCare’s youth and young adult psychiatric inpatient hospital, located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, is complete.
The nearly 30,000-square-foot expansion includes an additional 30 inpatient beds, activity and therapy spaces, allowing PrairieCare to serve an additional 1,000 youth and young adults each year. This marks the largest increase of psychiatric beds for youth in the state in decades. Ryan Companies built the expansion. Pope Architects served as the architect and interior designer for the project.
The grand opening took place Sept. 20, which included a ribbon-cutting and tour.
