Dena Null, LEED AP, BD+C, and Terri Sudbrook, AIA, CSI, CDT, have joined HMC Architects’ healthcare practice. Sudbrook will serve as principal-in-charge for the company’s San Jose, California office, while Null will serve as principal-in-charge for HMC’s San Francisco and Sacramento, California offices.
Sudbrook has over 30 years of project management expertise, with 20 of those years specializing in healthcare design. She specializes in designing healthcare facilities for medical imaging and is a subject matter expert on strategizing MRI installation projects to resonate with patients and medical staff.
Null recently served at AECOM, where she led the healthcare market for the company’s west region and the Hawaiian Islands. From facility
assessments to programming and concept design through construction, Null brings over 27 years of healthcare experience to HMC. Her specialties include comprehensive medical planning, healthcare infrastructure, disaster preparedness and rapid response, behavioral health facilities, and USP 797/800 pharmacy compliance experience implementing clean room design.
