Healthcare Building Solutions, LLC, announced the acquisition of Barrins & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in accreditation and regulatory compliance consulting for the behavioral healthcare industry.

HBS is a single-source consultancy offering equipment planning, transition planning, facility activation/logistic services and accreditation and regulatory compliance assistance for healthcare, science and higher education facilities. HBS is a platform investment of Latticework Capital Management, a private equity firm focused on partnering with entrepreneurially minded management teams to build leading healthcare companies.

“We are very excited to add Barrins & Associates’ deep bench of behavioral healthcare expertise to our Accreditation and Regulatory Service Line offerings,” shares Jay Hornung, ACHE, CHFM, president and CEO of HBS. “This acquisition, combined with our acquisition of Patton Healthcare Consulting earlier this year, confirms our status as one of the leading providers of regulatory compliance services in the healthcare industry.”
