Thomas “Tom” Lam, AIA, LEED AP, has joined SLAM (The S/L/A/M Collaborative) as an associate principal and healthcare practice leader for the firm’s Boston, Massachusetts office.
Lam brings nearly 30 years of experience as an architect and healthcare planner to SLAM. He has dedicated most of his career to clients throughout New England, including Lahey Health, Baystate Health, Maine Medical Center, Shriners Hospitals for Children and UMass Memorial Health Care. He has also developed a niche in community health facilities, for clients such as Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center, Charles River Community Health, Community Health Connections, Harbor Health Services, Manet Community Health, North Shore Community Health Center and many more.
He holds various memberships with industry organizations, and has written and presented widely on healthcare and community wellness-related topics.
