Ray Wong Joins Baker Barrios as Associate Principal + Sr. Healthcare Architect
Ray Wong has recently joined Baker Barrios Architects as associate principal and senior healthcare architect, where he will be spearheading the healthcare market in Tampa, Florida and beyond.
Wong’s healthcare architecture expertise spans nearly 17 years and includes working with some of the largest healthcare systems at the local, regional, national and international level (South America, the Middle East and China).
Wong has served on the board of the American Institute of Architects and the City of Tampa Community Advisory Committee for the Downtown Urban Core. He currently sits on the advisory board for the Florida Center for Community Design and Research at USF, among others. His commitment to the community and the architecture profession have been recognized by AIA Florida, as well as AIA Tampa Bay.
Wong’s new role with BBA allows him the opportunity to use his vast healthcare knowledge to help clients visualize, plan and execute capital improvement projects that consider the everchanging nature of the healthcare industry. He is also charged with supporting the company’s firmwide strategic business initiatives, providing healthcare design focused thought leadership, and growing the firm’s presence within the community.
