Mark Fulco was hired as vice president of business development, Northeast Healthcare, for Suffolk Construction Company, where he will be responsible for expanding Suffolk’s brand, strengthening relationships, evolving services and broadening resources for clients in the high-growth healthcare sector.
Fulco brings more than 25 years’ experience of healthcare leadership, operations experience and strong sector relationships to the company’s business development team. Previously, he held leadership positions at Trinity Health, most recently serving as president of Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. He also served as vice president at the Trinity Health system office in Livonia, Michigan, where he assisted in the integration of system-level and field operations following the merger of Catholic Health East and Trinity. In addition, he held the role of chief transformation officer for Mercy (formerly the Sisters of Providence Health System) in Springfield, where he led strategy and helped launch the Accountable Care Organization of New England and the Mercy Care Alliance clinically integrated network.
Fulco is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
