Will Downing, AIA, ACHA, has joined RDG Planning & Design in its Iowa City, Iowa location and will serve as a design leader focused on work for the firm’s Health Care Studio. An American College of Healthcare Architects Board-certified healthcare architect, he brings more than 27 years of experience designing technology-rich healthcare environments.
“As designers, the spaces we create have the ability to influence and support our clients and building users in ways we might not have originally imagined,” said Downing. “I look forward to working alongside the firm’s diverse and passionate team of professionals to serve our healthcare clients, offering creative solutions to design beautiful healing environments that support patients, caregivers and providers in new and innovative ways.”
