    Tellepsen Wins Award for Most Outstanding Construction Project

    AGC award for Memorial Hermann Heart & Vascular Institute places first in projects over $75M

    Houston, TX – Tellepsen, the fourth-generation Houston commercial and industrial builder celebrating its centennial this year, has been recognized for excellence in its construction of the Memorial Hermann Heart & Vascular Institute with the Project of the Year for Buildings over $75 million award, presented annually by the Texas Building Branch-Association of General Contractors (AGC) Outstanding Construction Awards (OCA).


    The AGC Texas Building Branch serves as the legislative office for all AGC building chapters in the State of Texas. Award categories for the OCA competition recognize construction excellence in building, design-build, interior finish-out, industrial warehouse, residential and specialty construction categories.

    The award will be presented to Tellepsen at the AGC TBB Annual Convention held on July 19-22, 2009 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

    The Memorial Hermann facility has also been the recipient of honors from APEX for Project Excellence and the Houston Business Journal’s Landmark Awards.
