Patty Melvin, Clairanne Pesce, Jennifer Tinsley and Leah Wilkins, interior designers with Array Architects, recently passed the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers examination and earned the Certified Healthcare Interior Designer certificate. The accomplishment brings the total number of CHID certificate holders at the firm to eight. Only 140 CHID certificates have been issued nationwide to date.
The CHID examination requires examinees to demonstrate competence in a variety of aspects that affect the healthcare interior environment. The examination covers acute care, ambulatory care and residential healthcare facilities.
