Ware Malcomb recently promoted Mila Volkova to director, healthcare design. In her new role, she will lead the growth and management of the firm’s Irvine, California-based Healthcare Design team. Volkova joined Ware Malcomb in 2013 as a project manager and was promoted to studio manager in 2016.
She is an active member of the healthcare design community and a thought leader in the space. Volkova recently spoke about trends in healthcare and the impact they are having on the real estate market at the 2018 Commercial Real Estate Women national convention.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Green Associate.
