Gresham Smith has named Jim Langlois, AIA, LEED AP, executive vice president for the firm’s Healthcare market. Langlois will shape and lead the market’s growth strategy bringing to bear more than 30 years of diverse experience.
Langlois most recently served as healthcare principal and studio director for a Carolina-based design firm. Prior to that, he had a 13-year career with HDR 
Architecture serving as managing principal and national healthcare principal for the firm’s Federal Program.
As an industry advocate, Langlois is an active member of the American Institute of Architects. He has served on the board of directors and as treasurer for Charlotte Section of the AIA North Carolina Chapter and served on UNC Charlotte College of Arts & Architecture’s board of advisors.
Langlois earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Boston Architectural College. He also holds a Master of Science in Executive Coaching from Queens University of Charlotte, McColl School of Business.
