    Ministry Saint Joseph’s Director of Facilities Management Earns ASHE Fellow Status

    Wegner_RMARSHFIELD, Wis. — Randy Wegner, director of facilities management at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Wis., has earned fellow status in the American Society for Healthcare Engineering. He is the first within Ministry Health Care to receive the honor, and joins one other from Wisconsin. There are 104 fellows nationwide.

    Wegner, who has served at the hospital for seven years, was recognized as a Fellow for demonstrating a continuous effort to reach new levels of achievement by sharing knowledge and expertise to advance, enhance and enlarge the body of knowledge of the profession.

    As Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital director, Wegner is responsible for facilities, plant operations, project management, safety/security, residential properties, motor services and biomed services. He has 10 direct reports and manages project construction of  from $12 to $14 million annually.

    He has 20-plus years of healthcare facilities experience, and worked previously at Freeport Health Network, Freeport Ill. and Saint John’s Macomb Hospital Center in Detroit.
