Gilbane_4711HOUSTON — Gilbane Building Company’s Houston, Texas office welcomed Adam Delk, a 15-year project management veteran specializing in healthcare. Delk will lead the Southwest region’s new business efforts in the healthcare and higher education markets.

“Gilbane is consistently ranked as one of the top five healthcare construction firms in the country,” says Delk. “Our strong client relationships, project success and experience in the Southwest gives us a solid foundation on which to build. I’m looking forward to growing the company’s healthcare presence in the Southwest to better align this region with Gilbane’s already impressive healthcare resume.”

In his previous role as a principal consultant with KLMK, a healthcare program management firm, Delk was responsible for establishing the company’s presence in the Southwest region. He has worked with some of the area’s premier healthcare programs, including Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Christus Health. Prior to KLMK, Delk served as owner and founder of Delk Construction Management Services, where he worked with owners of commercial construction projects to facilitate project delivery and ensure goals were achieved.

“With healthcare being such a strategic focus for our region, we’re eager to put Adam’s unique understanding of this multifaceted market to work,” says Dan Gilbane, regional business development manager. “Healthcare and higher education facilities are becoming more and more complex, and Adam’s knowledge and experience will allow him to really be an advocate for our clients.”
