PerchikLOS ANGELES, Calif. –CO Architects, promoted Eyal Perchik, AIA, from associate principal to principal.

Eyal Perchik, AIA, who joined CO Architects in 2001 as a senior associate, has upwards of 25 years of experience in healthcare projects and has coordinated more than 2-million-square-feet of healthcare construction.

As Healthcare Project Director Perchik has led many significant projects, including the Palomar Medical Center West in Escondido, Calif., Queen of the Valley Medical Advanced Diagnostic & Surgical Pavilion in Napa, Calif. and multiple projects for Kaiser Permanente. He serves as co-chair of the AIA/LA Healthcare committee and has also taught CADD at the University of California at Los Angeles for the past five years.

“Eyal is a great fit for the rank of principal, as he places emphasis on creating long-term client relationships and working skillfully with regulatory agencies,” says Scott Kelsey, AIA, the firm’s managing partner. Perchik’s commitment to design is seen through his desire to devise healthcare facilities that are beneficial to all users—doctors, staff, patients, and family.”

CO Architects is renowned for its extensive portfolio of large and complex institutional, civic, academic, laboratory and healthcare projects, including facility evaluation, renovations, new structures and comprehensive planning.

The firm has designed major “benchmark” and award-winning facilities for clients that include the University of California, Claremont Colleges, Palomar Medical Center West, Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and Los Angeles Unified School District.  CO Architects is sought after for functional, green, and graceful solutions for academic, civic, and institutional needs.
