BOSTON, Mass. – Scott Mueller, AIA, LEED AP, Shepley Bulfinch, has earned board certification from the American College of Healthcare Architects.
As a senior healthcare planner at Shepley Bulfinch, Mueller is responsible for the planning, coordination, documentation and leadership of project teams. He has worked extensively in NICU, ambulatory, inpatient and medical office building settings, marrying his passion for medical planning with his desire to create Lean and cost-effective patient and staff-friendly spaces. With more than 18 years of experience, he is recognized as an expert in healthcare design. His projects at Shepley Bulfinch include a campus master plan, the Center for Musculoskeletal Care and an Advanced Ambulatory Surgery Center at Yale New Haven Health’s St. Raphael Campus in New Haven, Connecticut. Additionally, he is working on a NICU renovation project at Yale New Haven Health’s Bridgeport Hospital Campus in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
A registered and LEED accredited architect, Mueller received a Master of Architecture and a certificate in historic preservation studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Valparaiso University.
