    WHR Architects’ Mark Vaughan Elected to ACHA’s Council of Fellows

    HOUSTON, Texas – Mark W. Vaughn, AIA, will be inducted into the Council of Fellows of the American College of Healthcare Architects at its convocation ceremony on Nov. 13. Vaughan is the principal in charge of WHR’s Dallas, Texas office and senior medical planner for the firm with over 25 years of experience. He serves as senior medical planner and client engagement leader on many of the firm’s most important projects where he has mark-vaughanearned a reputation for leading engagements with creativity and insight that enable clients to envision the possibilities in each project.

    Vaughan’s projects include: North Carolina Heart & Vascular Hospital, Raleigh, North Carolina; UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital, Longmont, Colorado; Meridian Hope Tower at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, New Jersey; Children’s Health System of Texas, Dallas Texas; Hopkins County Memorial Hospital, Sulphur Springs, Texas and The University of Texas Northeast Medical Center, Tyler, Texas.

    Vaughan received his Master of Architecture from the University of Houston and Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University. He is a Registered Architect in the State of Texas, 13 other states and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
