ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — BlueForge, LLC recently completed a critical design-build electrical upgrade project at the Veterans Administration Hospital located in Orlando, Fla. The scope of the project consisted of the design and construction of a new electrical system upgrade throughout most of the Orlando VA Medical Center campus.
The project required both demolition and restoration activities to be conducted while the hospital continued to remain operational. The new electrical system was designed to upgrade the facility to current codes and standards as well as address life safety concerns. Motor control centers, panel boards, distribution panels, switches and transformers were replaced throughout the campus.
