BALTIMORE — Hord Coplan Macht is pleased to announce that Helen E. Lanes, AAHID, IIDA, LEED AP BD+C, has joined the firm as a principal. Lanes will lead the firm’s Interiors Studio and her extensive portfolio in healthcare interior design will broaden HCM’s capabilities to both new and existing clients.
“Helen’s background and award-winning design expertise will allow us to advance our services to existing clients, to build relationships with new institutions, and to continue to grow our interior design studio,” said Lee Coplan, CEO of the firm.
With more than 20 years of experience, Lanes’ portfolio consists of work with some of the largest healthcare providers in the region including Johns Hopkins Hospital, Howard County General Hospital, Inova Health System, Adventist Health, St. Agnes Hospital, Prince William Health System, and the National Institutes of Health, among others.
Most recently, Helen worked in Perkins+ Will’s Washington, D.C. office. A 1985 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic and State University, and a Certified Healthcare Designer, Lanes’ breadth of healthcare interior design experience for hospitals will be an invaluable asset to HCM.
