Daniel Herstine, AIA, LEED AP, EDAC and Brian Miner, AIA, LEED AP BD+C were recently named principals of Hasenstab Architects, bringing the firm’s ownership group to six.
Herstine, a graduate of Kent State University, has been with Hasenstab Architects since 1999. During his 17-year tenure, he has played an integral role within the firm’s healthcare design studio, incorporating Evidence-Based and Patient-Centered design into his projects. He is managing projects for Aultman Hospital, the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services and Summa Health System, including a nearly 300,000-square-foot campus consolidation for the OMHAS North Coast Behavioral Healthcare facility.
Miner, also a graduate of Kent State University, has worked on a variety of higher education, laboratory and healthcare projects since joining Hasenstab Architects in 1999. He will help lead the team with sustainable design and LEED efforts.
