Taylor Design Appoints Kevin Hinrichs to Principal
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Kevin Hinrichs, LEED AP, has been named principal with Taylor Design. Hinrichs will continue to serve as director of the firm’s office in San Francisco, California, but now operates as the principal-in-charge, overseeing all aspects of the company’s Northern California operations, from business development to management of the office.
Hinrichs joined Taylor Design’s San Francisco office team in 2013 as project director. His 17-year career is highlighted by a proven history of collaborating with healthcare and science clients to deliver strategy-based designs, solving a variety of business, organization and built-environment needs.
A Licensed Architect in California and a LEED Accredited Professional with the United States Green Building Council, Hinrichs is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in psychology. He is an active member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers and the Herrero Lean Community, and also serves on the board of directors for On Lok Community Housing, a nonprofit created in 1987 with the general purpose of acquiring, developing and operating real estate to house the elderly in San Francisco.
