Harriman recently added two senior architects to its healthcare design studio.

richard_borrelliRichard Borrelli, AIA, joins the firm with 25 years of professional experience in healthcare facility programming, planning and design. His experience ranges from ambulatory care to acute care and includes renovations, expansions and new construction projects. Prior to joining Harriman, Borrelli served as design director for the in-house architectural arm of Trinity Health, a national Catholic healthcare provider, giving him a unique perspective as both client and architect simultaneously.

will_pogarWilliam Pogar, AIA, has more than 30 years of professional experience, 15 focused in healthcare design, encompassing all aspects of planning and design. Prior to joining the firm, he spent the past decade as Maine Medical Center’s in-house architect, giving him a unique understanding of how healthcare institutions function.

“These two key hires are part of the firm’s strategic plan that will allow Harriman to grow and expand our expertise in healthcare design,” says Harriman President Clifton Greim. “Richard and Will bring a broad range of experiences and skills that enhance our existing healthcare team.”

Harriman provides architecture and engineering design services for healthcare, education, corporate, government, and retail clients throughout New England and is the seventh-oldest design firm in the country.
