    Hammes Company Hires Regional VP, Opens Atlanta Office

    MILWAUKEE, Wis. and ATLANTA, Ga. – John Healy has been appointed regional vice president of the Hammes Company, heading the firm’s newly established Atlanta, Georgia office. July_MCDeNews_People_John HealyHealy has primary responsibility for the firm’s project management activities throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, and brings to the position a diverse and extensive background in project delivery, project management and business development with some of the Southeast region’s most prominent healthcare organizations.

    Healy brings almost 30 years of experience in healthcare project management and business development, with completed projects totaling more than $750 million and 1.7 million square feet, with more than $1.4 billion in project planning experience. He joins the firm following his tenure at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was senior vice president of its Southeast operations. Prior to that, Healy was senior project manager for a Carolinas Healthcare System where he managed a range of renovation projects at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. In addition, he served in project management roles at Bell Labs Lucent Technologies, Westinghouse Savannah River Company and as a Munitions Maintenance Officer in the U.S. Air Force.

    Healy received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Notre Dame, an MBA from the University of North Dakota and a Masters of Project Management from Western Carolina University.
