    CannonDesign Hires Stafford as Vice President

    CHICAGO, Ill. – Steven Stafford has recently joined CannonDesign as vice president and advisory services consultant.

    April_MCDeNews_People_Steven Stafford HeadshotWith a career spanning more than 30 years in the healthcare industry, Stafford brings to the firm a wealth of experience using data analytics and visualization to help community and academic health systems improve operational efficiency, quality and care delivery. His new position with the Advisory Services team will focus on advancing data-informed solutions for CannonDesign’s healthcare clients around the globe.

    “CannonDesign is thrilled to welcome Steven to our Health Practice,” states Dr. Manuel Hernandez, advisory services leader at CannonDesign. “As a seasoned healthcare executive who has worked with hospitals and health systems large and small, Steven brings considerable expertise in operational optimization and business and care model transformation that will support our mission of working with our clients to solve their greatest challenges.”

    Prior to joining CannonDesign, Stafford served as manager for Ernst & Young, where he led the hospital performance improvement analytics team conducting projects at major academic medical centers and community hospitals across the United States. In previous roles, Stafford has worked for both consulting firms and health systems, including The Johns Hopkins Hospital, leading strategic planning, operational improvement and financial management projects.
