A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the new $135-million Tim and Jayne Donahue Patient Care Tower in Jupiter, Florida. The five-story, 133,000-square-foot building adds 92 patient beds to the existing 248-bed capacity, and will include oncology, cardiovascular and orthopedic services.
The tower also features a high-tech clinical simulation center dedicated to providing hands-on training, skills development, teamwork, communications testing, workflows and new technology to promote innovation and ensure the highest levels of patient safety.
The project also included a five-deck parking garage with 845 spaces designed to meet the needs of the growing campus. Robins & Morton served as the general contractor and ESa was the architect.
