To highlight the completion of ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh, a community open house will be held 4-7 p.m. Jan. 8. The new campus is located at 250 W. 6th Ave. on the Fox River in downtown Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Attendees can take a tour, meet the care teams, enjoy light refreshments and enter for a chance to win various giveaways and prizes.

“With the opening of ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh, we’re making it easier for patients and families in northeast and central Wisconsin to get the care they need, close to home,” said Lynn Detterman, president of the North Region of Froedtert ThedaCare. “This new campus strengthens the trusted relationships we’ve built in the region and ensures seamless access to specialized services through our connected system of care.”

The new ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh is designed to provide comprehensive care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The health campus is approximately 114,000 square feet and an estimated $84-million investment in the Oshkosh community. Key services offered include inpatient care, outpatient surgery, primary care, pediatrics, specialty care, drive-thru retail pharmacy and imaging services.

The organization broke ground on the health campus in March 2024. To adapt to the changing needs of the community, original design plans were updated to add a 28,000-square-foot third floor. More services may be added over time based on community need. Project partners included: Miron Construction, HGA and Hplex Solutions.
