The Center for Health Design will Begin its 2026 Evidence-Based Design Journal Clubs with “Blueprints for Better Care: Unveiling the Role of Clinic Design in Enhancing Patient Experience and Efficiency.” The virtual event will be held 10 a.m. PST Thursday, Jan. 29.
Open to all and made free through the support of the Joseph G. Sprague Foundation, the Center for Health Design’s Evidence-Based Design Journal Clubs – comprised of a 15-minute presentation and 45-minute discussion – provide an opportunity for attendees to interact with recently published authors of significant, peer-reviewed journal articles.
Upon registration, attendees will receive a link to access the article in their registration confirmation along with the Zoom link to the meeting. Each EBD Journal Club session will provide participants with one EDAC/AIA continuing education unit.
Attendees of this month’s club will learn how targeted outpatient clinic design strategies — improving waiting areas, streamlining navigation, enhancing privacy and integrating supportive technology — can elevate patient experience, strengthen staff efficiency, and improve overall clinic performance.
