An April 7 opening date has been set for the new General Leonard Wood Community Hospital in Missouri.
Fort Leonard Wood, located in the Missouri Ozarks, is home to the 102nd Training Division and Missouri’s 35th Engineer Brigade. The hospital services 34,000 beneficiaries within a 40-mile radius of Fort Leonard Wood. The project will feature a 235,376-square-foot hospital, 193,332-square-foot medical clinic, a 20,459-square-foot central utility plant, a five-bay ambulance garage and supporting facilities.
The hospital is designed to provide world-class care to service members, retirees and their families. Equipped with the latest medical technology, sustainable design features and enhanced patient-centered spaces, GLWCH strengthens readiness while improving the patient experience.
The design and construction team includes JE Dunn Construction, RLF, Olsson Engineering, Land3 Studio, MMC Contractors, Guarantee Electrical and Bloomsdale Excavating, as well as 20 other subconsultants and trade partners. Read more about the project here.
