Located in North Carolina, AdventHealth Hendersonville and Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry have launched a self-service kiosk within the hospital’s main campus, designed to directly connect veterans, service members and their families to life-changing resources across North Carolina.
The kiosk serves as a trusted entry point into the NCServes network, a statewide coordinated care system for military-connected communities. Through this technology, users can easily submit requests for services spanning 21 human service domains, including transportation, housing, employment, mental health, veterans benefits and other essential social supports.
The NCServes kiosk is located in the AdventhHealth Hendersonville emergency department entrance area, allowing for 24-hour access. Once a request is made, it is routed to NCServes’ Coordination Center, where trained specialists connect individuals to the right services and providers to meet their needs. The network’s “no wrong door” approach ensures help is accessible whether through hospitals, community agencies like the Henderson County Veterans Service Office or now, this new self-serve kiosk.
