Architecture and engineering firm Goodwyn Mills Cawood is increasing its healthcare expertise through the acquisition of Cassetty Architects in Nashville, Tennessee. The Cassetty team has relocated to GMC’s Nashville office located in West End.
Founded in 1998 by Clint Cassetty, the firm specializes in healthcare architecture, having worked in hospital systems and healthcare corporations throughout the country.
GMC is working on several significant healthcare projects throughout the Southeast, including a new surgery and bed tower expansion at Health First Palm Bay Hospital in Palm Bay, Florida, an emergency department and bed tower expansion at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama and an emergency department replacement and women’s and infants tower addition at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.
Recent notable projects designed by the Cassetty Architects team include the Advanced Surgery Center of Sarasota, Florida, Orlando Ophthalmology Surgery Center, the University Surgery Center expansion in Winter Park, Florida, Delaware River Surgery Center in Chalfont, Pennsylvania and a new surgery center in Menasha, Wisconsin.
