The one-story, 10,862-square-foot acute-care facility will bring emergency services to the Rigsby neighborhood on the east side of San Antonio. The facility is a joint-venture partnership between Baptist Health System and Emerus.

The facility will have 10 examination rooms and one triage room, while providing a wide range of emergency services.

“We are excited to mark the completion of this emergency department, which will increase access to healthcare in our community,” Robins & Morton Division Manager Eric Groat said. “We look forward to seeing this facility have a lasting, positive impact in our community for many years to come.”

Robins & Morton served as the general contractor. Philo Wilke Partnership was the architect.
