HED has expanded its healthcare team in the Northeast with two additions to its Boston, Massachusetts office.  Jacob Campbell, AIA, LEED Green Associate has joined as associate principal of design and Peter Patsouris as associate principal and project manager.

    Jacob Campbell

Campbell brings more than 15 years of experience designing complex healthcare, civic and mixed-use environments. His portfolio spans transformative hospital campuses, large-scale urban developments and community-centered institutions.

Driven by a passion for exploration and collaboration, Campbell thrives in the conceptual phase of design, where curiosity sparks clarity and creativity emerge from connection. He views healthcare design as a civic responsibility, with every design decision holding the potential to uplift patients, empower staff and strengthen communities.

    Peter Patsouris

Patsouris has more than three decades of experience guiding complex projects across healthcare, life sciences and higher education. He brings thoughtful leadership, technical rigor and a client-first mindset to the design company’s growing regional presence.

Patsouris is known for leading with collaboration, devoting early design phases to deeply listening, gathering data and understanding each client’s story. His approach enables teams to deliver bold and practical solutions that elevate care environments for patients and staff. He has successfully guided the modernization of aging infrastructures to accommodate evolving technologies, sustainability imperatives and operational complexity, translating long-term vision into phased implementation strategies.
