Heather Kampa, CID, WELL AP, EDAC, has been promoted to principal at Taylor Design. Since joining the firm’s Sacramento, California office in 2024 as project director, Kampa has played a key role in strengthening client relationships and contributing to the office’s continued growth and momentum.

As principal, Kampa helps guide Taylor Design’s strategy in Northern California along with fellow Principal and Sacramento Office Leader Caitlin Stevenson. She contributes to project delivery and client engagement initiatives in the markets of health and science. Her leadership supports the firm’s ongoing commitment to delivering design solutions that are collaborative, human-centered and impactful.

Kampa serves as president of CREW-Sacramento, the local chapter of the global organization that advances women in commercial real estate through business networking, industry research, leadership development and career outreach initiatives. She also served two years as Sacramento City Center co-director for the International Interior Design Association and nearly six years as the IIDA Norther California Chapter’s finance chair. Prior to joining Taylor Design, she spent 18 years with one of the nation’s largest healthcare architecture firms, serving as both principal and vice president.
