Robins & Morton released its fifth-annual State of Healthcare Construction Report. To develop a comprehensive snapshot of predictions for the coming years, healthcare leaders, builders and design experts weighed in on topics ranging from revenue generation and sustainability to cybersecurity and personnel recruitment based on their areas of expertise. Download the full report here.

    Several key challenges discussed include:

    • Economic environment: High interest rates, staffing and labor shortages, along with difficulties securing capital
    • Sustainable building: Sustainable materials and practices continue to gain steam; however, articulating concrete returns has become increasingly complicated
    • Technology and connected infrastructure: While new technology enhances efficiency, increases patient comfort and decreases staff burnout, safeguarding data has emerged as a unique hurdle for healthcare systems.
