Array Architects has acquired Durham, North Carolina-based IHR Architecture, a firm with 46 years of healthcare design expertise in the Research Triangle. The addition unites two teams committed to simplifying the complexity of healthcare architecture through process-led design, embracing diverse perspectives and seamless service stemming from exceptional design clarity.
IHR’s leadership team—including President Nathan Isley, Vice President Malcolm Hawkins and Vice President Julie Risk—will join Array as principals. Isley will step into the role of studio director for Array’s new Durham Studio, working alongside David Martin, southeast regional vice president.
