Lawrence Group has opened a new office in Tampa, Florida’s Rivergate Tower. Often referred to as the “Beer Can Building,” due to its unique cylindrical shape, Rivergate Tower has been a prominent feature of the city skyline since 1986.
The firm is designing a 120-bed replacement hospital and medical office building for Health First on Merritt Island. The new $410-million hospital will replace Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach when it opens in 2027.
In addition to healthcare, the Tampa office is also active in higher education, student housing and senior living design. Its expertise spans a complete array of services, including architecture, interior design, master planning, furniture procurement, graphic design and landscape architecture.
