HITT has acquired Central Consulting & Contracting, a healthcare construction firm based in the New York metropolitan area. The acquisition strengthens HITT’s presence in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
The acquisition positions HITT to meet increasing demand for medical facilities in one of the largest and fastest-growing healthcare markets in the U.S. Central brings a portfolio of projects and longstanding relationships with major healthcare institutions, including Englewood Health, Montefiore Health System and St. Barnabas Health System Bronx.
Central’s Founder and CEO Richard Simone has joined HITT’s New York team as vice president, bringing decades of experience and deep industry relationships. He will work closely with leadership to ensure a seamless transition. Central’s team members have also officially joined HITT, expanding the firm’s local presence to more than 70 New York-based team members.
