Corgan has expanded its design services with the hiring of Pamela Munson, the firm’s first in-house laboratory planner and medical equipment planner. Munson has over 25 years of experience as a microbiologist and is a certified interior designer. She is serving clients in the life sciences, healthcare, higher education and medical industries for the firm.
Throughout her career, she has led efforts to develop standards for equipment and furnishings and has overseen clinical trials of equipment and furnishings for labs and high-tech clinical imaging, surgical and clinical spaces.
In her new role, she will oversee lab planning and medical equipment selection to blend functionality with design to create an elevated, design-forward experience for end users.
Munson is based in Los Angeles, California and joins former registered nurses and healthcare administrators who are part of Corgan’s national healthcare architecture and design team.
