The Facility Guidelines Institute has welcomed Laurel Tilot-Jezowski as associate editor, heading up a new series of handbooks to be released concurrently with the 2026 FGI code documents.

Tilot-Jezowski is based in Lansing, Michigan and previously worked in editing and producing content for the state’s premier public policy firm, Public Sector Consultants.

In that time, she managed the development and maintenance of robust editorial style guides for Michigan Saves, the nation’s first nonprofit green bank, as well as the Great Lakes Fishery Trust. Outside of this work, her roster of national and international freelance clients spanned fields like children’s literature, environmental justice and health policy.
