Acrovyn from Construction Specialties, with up to 50% post-consumer recycled content, was introduced in early 2024 in a limited number of products including select woodgrains, brushed metals and sheet-based products such as wall panels and doors. Now, CS is using post-consumer recycled content throughout the entire product finish portfolio. This includes all sheet-based products, ADS (face panels), wall panels and dimensional moldings.
The recycled content derives from recycled water bottles and other food-grade plastic items, which are chemically re-processed into PETG.
In addition to post-consumer recycled content, CS’ PVC-Free Acrovyn Sheet products have Environmental Product Declarations, Health Product Declarations, Cradle to Cradle to Cradle certification and Intertek Clean Air Gold certification to help contribute to green building goals.
