The Center for Health Design is accepting submissions for its Healthcare Environment Award through Sept. 27. The award was launched in 1989 to encourage and celebrate the use of an Evidence-Based Design process and a focus on the positive outcomes achieved in healthcare building projects through design.
Since its launch, nearly 300 projects from around the world have been awarded the distinction. Students and professionals, built and conceptual projects are all eligible to apply.
Award categories include:
• Acute (inpatient) care facilities
• Ambulatory (outpatient) care facilities
• Long-term care/assisted living facilities
• Behavioral & mental health settings
• Pediatric settings
• Hospital settings
• Conceptual design
• Student design work
• Alternative settings
