Goodwyn Mills Cawood has expanded its presence in Florida with the addition of its Orlando office. The firm has existing offices in Lutz, Tampa, Sarasota and Pensacola. The initial focus in Orlando will be healthcare architecture, with plans to grow the location into a full-service GMC office in the future.
Healthcare architecture practice leader Jack Monroe, AIA, NCARB, EDAC, will lead this new office.

Monroe has been a valuable asset to the team since joining the firm in January and will continue to leverage his longstanding local relationships to serve the community. He has worked on projects for some of the largest healthcare systems in Orlando and throughout the Southeast.
“We’ve seen a tremendous amount of growth in the Central Florida market, much of which can be attributed to the quality of life, jobs and affordability of this region,” Monroe said. “This new office provides us an opportunity to grow our team so that we can continue to support growth in the community through the services GMC provides.”
