A new emergency department has been unveiled at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. It is the first phase of a master facilities program.
The two-story, 55,000-square-foot expansion project resulted in new treatment, exam and trauma rooms and a 24-bed unit observation unit. A 4,000-square-foot community center is dedicated to providing care to non-medical patients. The project team included ZGF Architects, Turner Construction Company.
The second phase of the master facilities program, expected to be completed in 2025, is underway and involves renovation of the old emergency department. Read more details here.
